The Influence of Khoja Ahmet Yesevi on Huvayda's Diwan

Abstract

Chagatay literature is one of the most important parts of Turkish literature. However, there is no satisfactory information and resources about the post-classical period or the post-Navai period when we review the perspective of this literature. Also, there is not enough information about the life and works of poets and writers who have lived in the age of Navai. Among these poets, Khaja Nazar Huwaydah is one of them, who lived in Ferghana, Turkestan. His poems were published in cities such as Istanbul, Kazan and Tashkent, and his lyric poems were included in prestigious poetry collections, which indicates the popularity of this poet among the Turks. In addition, the poetry of Hikma Khaja Ahmed Yasui had significant effects on some Turkish craftsmen.
